一 、 在 組 織 上 為 自 發 性 ， 基 於 認 同 本 團 之 服 務 宗 旨 並 出 於 個 人 之 志 願 ， 有 意 共 同 為 塑 造 本 團 教 育 性 、 服 務 性 、 公 益 性 形 象 而 結 合 。

二 、 在 工 作 上 為 支 援 性 ， 以 配 合 團 的 工 作 需 要 而 參 與 服 務 。

三 、 在 經 費 上 為 自 償 性 ， 並 無 固 定 預 算 ， 活 動 費 用 均 來 自 團 友 之 贊 助 或 社 會 捐 助 。

四 、 在 運 作 上 為 社 會 性 ， 係 結 合 大 家 力 量 ， 做 有 益 於 大 家 的 事 。

A. Promoting the youth orchestra, as well as encouraging and supporting educational undertakings conducive to the interests, concerns and well-being of its membership;

B. Encouraging and facilitating the exchange, enhancement, and application of the expertise of its membership in the interest of child education and human values; and

C. Encouraging and promoting cultural understanding and communications among Chinese Americans in general, and with other ethnic groups in American and Chinese Communities worldwide.
